Former fugitive in custody
CALUMET – The Michigan State Police Calumet Post has reported one of the wanted fugitives on the run for the past several months has been arrested.
Raymond Ojala Jr. turned himself in Saturday at the Houghton County Jail on a one-count felony warrant for kidnapping – custodial interference.
His arraignment was set for 10 a.m. today.
Still on the run is Christina Gagnon with her 11-year-old son, Billy. There are warrants for her arrest and the boy has been listed as a missing endangered child.
She is reported to be in the Green Bay area.
Troopers are working with authorities in that area to locate her.
