SOUTH RANGE – Marilyn Saarinen, 75, of South Range, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Munford, Tennessee.
Marilyn was born in Hancock on July 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Richard and Sophie White. She was a graduate of Chassell High School class of 1955. She was married to Raymond Saarinen on July 30, 1955.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister Jean (White) Robertson.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ray of almost 58 years; her daughters, Kim (Steve) Piggott of Fayetteville, N.C., Susie (Blake) Haralson of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Lynn (Sue) Saarinen of Munford, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron) White, Justin (Loree) Haralson of Riverside, Calif., and Joshua Saarinen of Millington, Tenn.; and five great grandchildren, Liam, Riley, Owen, Kendra and Tristan all of Riverside, Calif.
Marilyn and Ray spent much of the last 25 years traveling to see their children and grandchildren and enjoying their life together.
A private service will be held at a later time.
