Thanks for Meet and Greet success

The Copper Country Community Transition Council (CTC) would like to thank all the agencies that made our third annual Meet and Greet at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Houghton, on April 23rd a HUGE success. Junior and senior high school students in special education, teachers and parents from the Copper Country school districts of Baraga, Calumet, Horizon, Copper Country Intermediate Hancock Highs School, Lake Linden and Chassell networked with support services who will benefit student’s after graduation. Thanks to Coke Products for donating drinks and STs Peter and Paul for the facility and janitorial services. Thanks to Michigan Transition Service Association for the donations of food. Thanks to the young adults in Student Leadership and Elsa from SKY for helping with registration and food service. We are blessed in the Copper Country with professionals and community members who are sincerely interested in the welfare of our students and their transition into adulthood.
