Fastpitch regular season ends, playoffs loom

CHASSELL – Northstar BP picked up a pair of decisive victories in the final night of the regular season for the Copper Country Women’s Fastpitch League Monday.

In game one, Northstar dropped Bambu/Favorites 13-3 in five innings.

Elisabeth Richards struck out five for the winners, who busted a close game open with six runs in the third inning.

Bekah Goodreau took the loss for Bambu/Favorites.
