Suspects remain at large
WATTON – No arrests have been made in the case of an apparent home invasion and armed robbery in Watton Thursday.
Two men are being sought in the incident, which occurred about 4:50 p.m. Thursday in a home on M-28.
The men, described as white with dark complexions, forced their way into the home, state police said. The men identified themselves as federal agents before demanding a $10,000 ransom, police said; they threatened to shoot the residents if they did not comply.
They took wallets, identification and other documents and a handgun before fleeing, police said.
No injuries were reported in the incident. When last seen, the men were driving a white Cadillac EXT pickup eastbound on M-28.
The first suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s with a darker complexion.
He is approximately 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He has short brown hair, teal-green eyes and a short, light-colored goatee.
He was wearing a white shirt with a brown, blue and red horizontal stripe across the chest.
The second suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s with brown hair and a darker complexion.
He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 165 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and red jogging pants.
