GREEN BAY, Wis. – Paul Stone, 77, of Green Bay, died Monday, Aug.19, 2013. He was born June 7, 1936, in Trimountain, to Clemens and Theresa (Andreini) Stone.
Paul served in the U.S. Army after high school and was stationed in Korea.
On Aug. 25, 1962, he married Sharon Kellam.
Paul worked for the Green Bay and Western Railroad as a Carman, retiring after 40 years.
He had a passion for playing hockey and even kept skating throughout his life. He made a point of watching as many Red Wing games as possible. Paul enjoyed small game hunting, fishing and raising Beagles for hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Brenda Stone; his daughter, Kelly Kasel and her fiancee, Dave Schmidt; five grandchildren, Jacob, Emma and Benjamin Stone; Tanya and Lee Kasel; and Lee and Tanya’s father, Jeff “Chico” Kasel; great-granddaughter, Alaina Mosupye; brother-in-law, Duane West; and sister-in-law, Gloria Stone.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clement “Sonny” Stone, and sister, Jean West.
Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., Green Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating.
