Repentance and regeneration
To the editor:
There has always been those puffed up, wise in their own conceits, wallowing in their own intellectual sewage, questioning, mocking and scoffing Almighty God.
The Lord’s Apostle Paul addressed a perverter, saying “O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the Devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, whilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?”
Paul also taught that the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God: For they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them because they are spirtually discerned.
To begin to understand the ways of God requires repentance and regeneration.
That is why the disciples of Christ preached repentance towards God and faith towards Jesus Christ.
