Charlotte A. (Robert) Hager
CHASSELL – Charlotte A. (Robert) Hager, 72, a resident of Chassell passed away Sunday evening, November 3, 2013, at the Marquette General Hospital following a short illness.
She was born on November 3, 1941, in Ishpeming, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Charlotte (Holmgren) Boase. As a child, she was raised in the Ishpeming area and graduated from the Ishpeming High School with the class of 1959. She then graduated from Northern Michigan University with a teaching degree.
Charlotte taught school in Gladstone, Mich., Rapid River, Mich., Sacred Heart School in Laurium and retired from the Dollar Bay Schools.
On July 29, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert Hager.
Charlotte was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her step father, Warren Farley.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Hager of Chassell; her daughters, Cynthia (Anatoli Andreev) Blake of Chassell, Kristin (Brent) Peterson of Chassell; her grandchildren, Jessica (Joe), Andrew, Jonathon, Branden and Annika; her sister, Joan (Gregg) Bjorne of Chassell; her nephews, Kevin (Andrea) Bjorne and son, Kenneth (Kristen) Bjorne and son, Colin; her step-brother, Richard (Julie) Farley; her step-sister, Marge Pearson.
As requested a private service for Charlotte will be held at a later date and burial will be in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests that memorial be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell in memory of Charlotte Hager.
