Karen Rheault

LAKE LINDEN Karen Rheault, 55, of Lake Linden, formerly of Greenfield, Wis., passed away in Lake Linden at the home of her parents on December 19, 2013.

Karen was born on April 14, 1958, the daughter of Chester and Evelyn Beauvillia Rheault. She was a graduate of Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1976. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at the Milwaukee Area Technical College and she went on to earn her Master of Science in Computer Science Education from Cardinal Stritch University.

Karen was employed for the past 21 years by Meta House, a non-profit organization treating women with substance abuse disorders, as the Director of Management in Formation Systems and Communications.

Karen was a quiet and shy person. She handled her illness with great dignity and let very few people in on her suffering. Karen was a hard worker, smart, generous and a perfectionist. Karen will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, great sister and our family organizer. She will be missed by all but we are happy her suffering has ended.

Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Karen is survived by her parents, Chester and Evelyn Rheault of Lake Linden; three brothers, David (Colleen) of Mohawk, Brian (Sheila) of Wellington, Fla., and Alan (Marti) of Grand Rapids, Mich.; niece and nephews, Julie Rheault, Roger, Ian, Justin and Casey Rheault; aunts and uncles, Robert (Marj) Beauvillia of Appleton, Wis., Theresa Jacques of Linden, Mich., and Barbara (Bob) Saari of Gwinn; numerous cousins; and her cat, Mittens.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23rd in the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. Martin Flynn to officiate.

Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home and again on Monday for an hour before the service.

Spring Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s memory can be made to either the Meta House, Inc. Development Department, 2625 N. Weil St., Milwaukee, WI 53212 or the Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools Foundation for computers, 601 Calumet St., Lake Linden, MI 49945.
