Memories of the Keweenaw

To the editor:

It’s a dark and dreary day.

I hope it snows and snows and snows.

I’d like to be snowed in.

Not just me, of course,

there’d be you, too.

That’s why I’d like

to be snowed in.

Snow would be

halfway up the windows.

No one could get in.

We’d have food

maybe a little wine

and a fire

and each other.

That’s enough.

I hope it snows.
