Show of love was a comfort

To the editor:

We would like to say thank you to everyone who reached out to us in the recent death of our dear daughter Brittany Nicholas. This loss has been very, very difficult for us to deal with but so many of you comforted us in so many ways. If we took the time to list names we would probably take up an entire page in the newspaper, so we will simply say “Thank You” to those who sent cards, comforted us during the visitation or church service, stopped by to talk or drop off a meal, gave to Brittany’s memorial scholarship, purchased or made bracelets, held fundraisers or called to check on us. Thank you if you comforted our boys or her boyfriend Damion and his family and Brittany’s grandma Wanda. Thank you if you simply offered a hug. Thank you for messaging us on facebook, even if you truly did not know what to say, you said enough when you said you are keeping us in your prayers and thinking about us. We truly consider ourselves lucky to live in such a caring and loving community and you have overwhelmed us with your support.
