Board candidate wants support
To the Editor:
The Ontonagon REA District 7 Board Seat election is taking place this month. Your completed ballot needs to be mailed to the REA office by the middle of June. District 7 is the largest of the 7 Ontonagon REA districts and includes all REA member/consumers north of the Houghton/Hancock bridge.
I am running for this Ontonagon REA District 7 Board seat that I was elected to previously and held for three years. Now I am a retired professor of Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration. A graduate of Michigan State University, I earned my MBA from the University of Colorado. Also I have additional graduate business and economics credits from Minnesota State University. My teaching career included full time appointments at Winona State University, Minnesota State University, Saginaw Valley State University, Minot State University, Finlandia University, Northland College, and Lincoln College.
Also I am a former university housing & food service supervisor at MTU and MSU and a former city manager administrative assistant in Rochester MN where I started and operated my own 3-store grocery company.
If elected, I promise to again be an informed and dynamic voice on the board for the best interests of the member/consumers and families of District 7 as I was for three years during my previous term. Please mark your ballot for Thomas List.
