Two arrested in drug bust

ONTONAGON – A man and woman from Ontonagon are facing numerous drug and drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed on a Mass City building on Monday by the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office, with help from the Michigan State Police Wakefield Post.

Harvey Albert Reaver, 33, has been charged with multiple counts of delivery and manufacture of marijuana and methamphetamine and both possession and use of the drugs, as well as maintaining a drug house, possession of firearms by a felon and habitual offender.

Janet Ann Finley, 54, is charged with delivery and manufacture of marijuana and meth, possession and use of both drugs, as well as maintaining a drug house.

According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant for the Mass City building where the suspects were found was obtained after the Sheriff’s Office received a child endangerment complaint, and evidence for the drug arrests was found during the search. The child endangerment complaint is still under investigation.

Reaver is being held on a $50,000 bond at 10 percent, as well as a bond violation from a past arrest. Finley also remains in jail, on $25,000 bond at 10 percent.
