CopperDog says thanks

To the editor:

To all CopperDog Lovers, Mushers, Sponsors, Supporters, Volunteers, and Fans – the CopperDog board of directors sends you a heartfelt THANK YOU for supporting us and cheering us on these past five years. Now that the snow has melted and the dogs have departed, we’d like you to help us plan our future by letting us know what you think and how we can improve.

In addition to ideas and suggestions, we’re also looking for people who’d like to become involved with CopperDog on a year round basis. It’s not always about the dogs. Are you an educator? Do you have marketing and writing skills? How about financial or fund-raising experience? Maybe some experience with web sites? Would you be interested in serving on the CopperDog board of directors? Whatever your skills and interests, we’d love to have you get involved with CopperDog!

And since, ultimately, it actually IS about the dogs – would you like to become more involved with race weekend? Could you see yourself as a Checkpoint Coordinator, a Volunteer Captain, or handling musher liaison duties? The ways to become involved with CopperDog are almost limitless.

To let us know if you’d like to become involved please send an email to abbeygreen@copperdog150.com or a note to CopperDog, Inc., PO Box 384, Calumet, MI 49913. Please include your name, contact information (phone number, email, community, etc.), your experience with CopperDog, any specific interests you have, and if you’d like to serve on a committee, or on our board of directors.

Thank you Copper Country, for your enthusiasm and support. We’re looking forward to sharing our future with YOU!

The CopperDog

Board of Directors
