30 hits in softball win for Coca-Cola/ Miller’s Recreation

HOUGHTON – A 30-hit attack propelled Coca-Cola/Miller’s Recreation to a 25-9 Copper Country men’s slowpitch win over Auto Value Monday.

Dave Kamrad was 4-for-4 with a triple and seven others (Brandon Barnes, Rod Barnes, Dan Eikenberry, Chad Monticello, Jim Perron, Randy Perron and Sean Perron) all had three hits.

Nutini’s held off Pat’s Foods/ThermoAnalytics 19-13. No stats were available for the winners, but Logan Rastello and Austin Riipi had four hits apiece in the defeat. Ben Steber, Christopher Fischer and Charles Fraser added two hits apiece.

McGann’s/Northern Auto dumped Erickson Crowley Peterson 33-9. Erik Nettell had two hits, including a home run, in defeat. Buddy Londo and Tim Lofquist also had two-hit games.
