The couple was married in the First Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Pensacola, Florida on June 19, 1964, officiated by the Rev. William Sunda. The Matron of Honor was the bride’s sister Amelia McElwee, now of Cherry Hill, N.J. The best man was Rev. Ed Gray of Pensacola, FL. The couple are very active in the International Ministry at Bethany Baptist Church of Dollar Bay and extend their ministry into the lives of students by providing Driver’s Education Training and English classes to non-English speaking students and/or their spouses. The remainder of their time is spent enjoying their Traprock Valley home and traveling to see former students and family members.

They have been blessed with seven grandchildren: Sierra, Aurora, Lorelei and Marin of Los Altos, CA; Tristan of San Pedro, CA; and Sage and Silvy of Pensacola, FL.
Throughout the last 50 years Gary and Marianna have been giving honor and service to God, giving assistance and respect to their parents, giving kindness and help to those in need, giving hospitality and support to their friends, giving dedication and companionship to each other and giving love and guidance to their sons and grandchildren.
